Ceramics Continued Study is a space for students to enhance their learning experience with instructor assistance and guiding knowledge. Sign up for a single class to continue working and add finishing touches on projects you’ve started in one of our other classes. Sign up for multiple classes to choose your own adventure in hand-building or wheel thrown ceramics. Work with your instructor to plan out your projects and make them a reality. Some experience with clay recommended.

Firing costs, essential tools, and glazes included.

Clay available for purchase separately in studio.

*Some classes may require additional materials. If applicable a supply list or kit available for purchase will be provided first day of class.

TMA strives to make art education accessible to all. Apply for a need based scholarship to cover partial and full tuition of classes. Scholarship Application.

Cancellation Policy 

All of TMA’s studio courses require a minimum enrollment to run. If a class does not meet a minimum enrolment 3 days before the first day of class it will be canceled and a full refund issued to any enrolled students.

For students that need to cancel their enrollment:

14 days + before the first day of your class—100% refund 

8–13 days before the first day of your class—50% refund 

7 days or less—no refund 

All refunds will be charged a $15 administrative fee. 

This workshop series takes place at the Tampa Museum of Art’s newly expanded Vinik Family Education Center,  120 W. Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa, FL 33602.

Work in your drawing and painting media of choice or explore new ones, In these 3-hour instructor-guided single session classes, students will learn the fundamentals and expand their 2D knowledge while creating images from life. Learn the basics and grow your techniques with tailored instruction and live model sessions.

Basic drawing supplies and draft paper included.

Summer Art Camp 2024

Register your child for Summer Art Camp at the Tampa Museum of Art. Weekly AM and PM camps are available for children and teens ages 6 to 17 as well as Adults 55+.
