Volunteer Opportunities

Visitor & Member Outreach Volunteer

If you are passionate about art and love to talk to people, consider joining our team. You’ll interact with guests in the galleries while ensuring the safety of the exhibitions. You’ll act as a communications liaison, discussing our programs and the benefits of membership. You will also occasionally have an opportunity to assist our Development department in communicating with our members. College students are encouraged to apply. Must be 18 or older.

Volunteer Opportunities for High School and College Students

The Education Department invites high school and college students to assist with our children and family programs. Spend the summer at Summer Art Camp, assist our teaching artists in our drop-in art-making programs, or dig into the exhibitions with families during Family Day.

Email the education department at education@tampamuseum.org to know more about all of our available volunteer programs.

Are you 16 or 17 years old?

Email studio@tampamuseum.org for more information.

Youth Council

The Tampa Museum of Art’s Youth Council strives to engage, educate, and excite youth in arts. The Youth Council is dedicated to diversity, equality, opportunity, creativity, community, and discovery. The program for high school students creates an accessible museum environment in which youths in our community can express themselves artistically.
