School and Youth Tours

Docent-led tours focus on connecting students with the Museum’s collections and special exhibitions. They inspire an understanding and appreciation of the visual arts. Students are encouraged to use critical thinking and viewing skills to connect with the art on view with their studies and their own life experiences. Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.

Drawing Inspiration

Starting in August 2025, TMA will be hosting a bi-monthly sketch club for local teachers. Every other month on the last Sunday, we’ll explore a different exhibition, spending the majority of our time sketching and a little bit of our time sharing. This is a chance to unwind and draw inspiration!

Free with admission, bring your own sketchbook (size 14” x 17” or under) and pencil (no charcoal, erasers and rulers are allowed).

All levels are welcome, but we have a capacity of 15 teachers. Please RSVP at danette.albino@tampamuseum.org.

Learning Resources

We have created and organized a variety of learning resources to support learning in and out of the classroom, including the Community Arts Initiative curriculum kit. To access our lesson plans, activities, and other learning materials, go to our Learning Resources page.
