The Young Directors Film Festival strives to empower young filmmakers by celebrating and elevating creativity and teen voices. This Festival offers a platform for the community of Tampa Bay by allowing students, families, and film lovers to come and celebrate the future of film making.
This year’s Young Directors’ Film Festival will be held at two locations: Tampa Theatre and Tampa Museum of Art. The two events are within a short 5 to 7 minute walk. The films will be screened in the Tampa Theatre over two viewing sessions, at 1:15p and 3:00p. The awards will be announced at the Tampa Museum of Art during a ceremony starting at 4:30p. As always, the event and museum admission for the day of the festival are FREE!
