Teen Open Studio is a free program presented by the Tampa Museum of Art that gives teens in grades 6 through 12 the opportunity to create, learn, and work alongside local working artists. Teens can learn new techniques, explore new media, take on new themes, and hear about careers in the arts.
During this month’s session, we’ll work on and share our own art over Zoom, and participate in an art lesson using household materials.
The first 30 minutes is free-work and free-chat time, and from 2:30-4:00p local artist and TMA Studio Programs Coordinator Anthony Record will be leading the group through a pattern and painting project. For the in-person session at the Museum all art supplies are provided, but to participate in this virtual session you’ll need:
Registered teens will receive an email with a link to a virtual Zoom meeting and a password on November 13th.
