Date: Monday, June 3rd, 6pm-8pm
Join us (TMA) along with the Tampa Theatre and the Straz Performing Arts Center on June 3rd from 6pm-8pm for a public meeting to explore our redevelopment plans! This meeting will give our neighbors the opportunity to hear from several cultural institutions who are helping to enhance the cultural arts presence in Tampa! Representatives from the Straz, the Tampa Theatre and TMA will present on their expansion projects!
We’re excited to share the benefits of our 51,000-sq.ft. expansion and an 80,000-sq. ft. site redevelopment at Curtis Hixon Park. This project will enhance the Riverwalk connection at Cass St., introduce outdoor sculpture areas, and extend our terrace into a lively public area with a café. Learn about our new art education and exhibition spaces, including digital spaces, auditorium, culinary arts program, and more. Your feedback at this meeting will help shape downtown Tampa’s cultural future! We want to hear from you! Guests will be asked to complete a brief survey after the meeting so that we can gather important community feedback. RSVP is requested.
