Children’s Board Free Family Day: Farewell Summer
Say a final goodbye to summer with the Tampa Museum of art during Children’s Board Free Family Day: Farewell Summer. Take part in artmaking, a fun scavenger hunt, and snacks that celebrate the best of summer and the works of art on view in the galleries.
Here’s the lineup for the day:
11 am – 4 pm: Some of our favorite summer time activities turned into art projects: create a lantern using gyotaku (Japanese fish printing), make a collage sunset, and try your hand at an origami sailboat.
12 pm – 3 pm: Enjoy a frost snow cone on a hot August day! The first 200 guest receive a coupon for a FREE snow cone!
1:30 & 3:30 pm: Storytime in the Galleries!
Come for the fun, stay for the art, and leave with awesome memories! 🌈🎨🎶
