We welcome you to use the following resources for your classroom or home to support learning. If you use these materials, please give us your feedback at education@tampamuseum.org.
Community Arts Initiative Curriculum Kit

This curriculum kit was developed as a resource for Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) teachers whose schools have been served through the Community Arts Initiative tour program at the Tampa Museum of Art (TMA). The Community Arts Initiative tour program enabled Transformation Network students to use their critical thinking skills through facilitated conversations and art-making activities.
This curriculum kit includes four lesson plans with handouts based on objects from our permanent collection and resources on utilizing thinking routines that enhance critical thinking skills. While the thinking routines used in this program are essential for art education, they fit all subjects; for this reason, we invite all educators to utilize this curriculum kit.
Access the curriculum kit here.
