Join the Youth Council
Applications for the Youth Council are now open!
The Youth Council is open to students who will be enrolled in high school for the 2018-19 school year. Students must be available to attend at least 80% of the Summer Session, regularly participate in meetings throughout the school year, and attend Youth Council events. The Youth Council is a year round commitment, which is renewed annually after being accepted into the program. Places are limited. Current Youth Council members will interview applicants.
April 30 – Applications Close
May 5 to 18 – Potential Member Interviews
May 31 – Orientation Dinner (Parents and Council members,)
June 4 to August 2: Summer Session, Tuesday to Thursday 8a— 2 p (No session week of July 4)
August 18 – beginning of bi-weekly meetings, every other Saturday 9a-12p
**Only a limited number of absences are permitted during the entirety of the program. Please make sure that you are able to commit for the entire year before applying.
