The Tampa Chapter of Links Incorporated and Tampa Museum of Art are proud to celebrate “2020, The Year of the Woman” with Women: A Study in Visual Diversity, a series of programs featuring four female Tampa Bay artists. This series will present the diversity of these four artist, in artistic practice and stages of careers as artists and educators, to the community. View works created by these artists then participate in a panel discussion and workshops led by them. The series will end with a shared student and artist showcase to highlight works created in the workshops.
Take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to learn from and create with the artists. Sign up for one, two, three, or all four workshops to learn more about each artist’s creative process and create your own work in the style of each artist. Workshops take place from 1-4p in the Tampa Museum of Art Golding-Scher Classroom, with the exception of April 25th’s, which will be held in the artist’s studio at the University of Tampa. Students participating in the workshops will have a chance to have their works one view next to the artists’ for a showcase exhibition.
