As the exhibition Garry Winogrand: Women are Beautiful draws to a close, please join us for special presentation by Leo Rubinfien. Rubinfien curated the last major Winogrand retrospective that toured the US and Europe in 2014. Entitled Garry Winogrand, the exhibition traveled to the Metropolitan Museum of Art; National Gallery of Art; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Jeu de Paume, Paris, and Madrid’s Fundación MAPFRE. A photographer himself, Rubinfien was part of Winogrand’s circle of friends in the 1970s and knew him both personally and professionally.
Lectures at the Tampa Museum of Art are free with the cost of Admission.
