Public Engagement Meeting – TMA Expansion Plans: Community Benefits

Join us at the Tampa Museum of Art on May 23rd at 5:30pm for a public meeting to explore our redevelopment plans! We’re excited to discuss our 51,000-sq.ft. expansion and an 80,000-sq. ft. site redevelopment at Curtis Hixon Park. This project will enhance the Riverwalk connection at Cass St., introduce outdoor sculpture areas, and extend our terrace into a lively public area with a café. Learn about our new art education and exhibition spaces, including digital spaces, auditorium, culinary arts program, and more. Your feedback at this meeting will help shape downtown Tampa’s cultural future! We want to hear from you! Guests will be asked to complete a brief survey after the meeting so that we can gather important community feedback. RSVP is required.
This meeting is being held in conjunction with the Downtown River Arts Neighborhood Association.

SAVE THE DATE: Our second community meeting on this topic will be held at the Straz Center for Performing Arts on June 3rd from 6pm-8pm. This meeting will give our neighbors the opportunity to hear from several cultural institutions who are helping to enhance the cultural arts presence in Tampa!
