Join us in the galleries at the Tampa Museum of Art for a conversation with artists featured in the exhibition, Skyway 20/21: A Contemporary Collaboration. Artists Kim Anderson, Jill Taffet, and Libbi Ponce (joining virtually) speak about perception and ways of seeing in their art. Anderson’s paintings include the use of a stereoscope to view her artwork, as well as explore themes of gender and the gaze. Libbi Ponce’s sculptures highlight personal history, and the artist often incorporates new media in their work to examine identity and mythologies. Jill Taffet utilizes new technology, such as augmented reality, to investigate the relationship between viewer and object.
