Remix: Ancient Sphinx Paintings at Winthrop Arts Inc.

Create an acrylic painting on canvas based on painted ceramics in the Tampa Museum of Art’s Antiquities Collection, and apply antique faux-finishing techniques using modeling paste and crackle medium.

Remix is a series of wide ranging follow-along make-and-take art workshops for adults inspired by the Museum’s current exhibitions. Workshops are designed to be enjoyed by participants of any skill level and all materials are provided.
