The Tampa Museum of Art provides many opportunities for teens to get involved.
When: Mondays, 3 — 6 pm
Where: Tampa Museum of Art Busch Classroom
Teen Open Studio is a free program that gives teens in grades 6 through 12 the opportunity to create, learn, and work alongside local working artists. Teens can learn new techniques, explore new media, take on new themes, and hear about careers in the arts from a new artist every week. Teens can work on their own projects for the first hour each week in our classroom, and be included in an exhibition of student work in December!
3-4p: Free studio work time with visiting artist guidance
4-6p: Visiting artist-led project
All Materials Provided.
Registered students can arrive any time between 3p and 4p, but space is limited! Due to the popularity of the program, you can only register for one week at a time. Registration for each session opens one week before the session is set to begin.
