In-Person at Winthrop Arts Inc.: April 29, 6:30-8:30p
Teen Open Studio is a free program presented by the Tampa Museum of Art that gives teens in grades 6 through 12 the opportunity to create, learn and learn alongside local working artists. Teens can learn new techniques, explore new media, take on new themes, and learn about careers in the arts.
For this month’s session, local artist and TMA Studio Programs Coordinator Anthony Record will give a short presentation about a work of art on view at the Museum, and then lead the class through an art project inspired by it.
All supplies provided, but feel free to bring something to draw with and your sketchbook if you have one.
Registration link for April goes live at 7:00a on April 1.
Registered participants will receive an email with details about classroom location and drop-off procedures 2-3 days before the session.
