Spend your summer surrounded by art, both ancient an contemporary, as you create and learn in our Summer Art Camp Program! Each camp is directly inspired by our exhibitions in display, and our instructors will introduce you to different mediums and techniques in a fun and engaging way!

Week 2: June 10-14

 

Ages 6 -7

  • AM Camp: Ancient Art in 2D
    8:30a-12:30p
    Explore painting, drawing, and other two-dimensional art making with projects inspired by the Museum’s collection of ancient art.

  • PM Camp: Ancient Art in 3D
    1:00p-5:00p
    Build, mold, and sculpt three-dimensional works of art inspired by the Museum’s collection of ancient art.

Ages 8-10

  • AM Camp: Abstract Expressionism
    8:30a-12:30p
    Unleash your creativity by discovering abstract expressionist art making and explore a variety of materials and surprising approaches to painting, printmaking, and collage.

  • PM Camp: Upcycled Art
    1:00p-5:00p
    Use recycled and re-purposed materials to make works of art inspired by current exhibitions at the Museum. Create unique works of art while helping to preserve the environment.

Cost:
  • Members: $125 per camp
  • Not-yet Members: $150 per camp
  • Optional: Daily lunch provided by SaltBlock Hospitality: $35 per week
