¡Prepárate para un nuevo sabor! Prepare yourself for a new flavor! Pride & Passion returns in 2023 for its 17th year, setting the stage for a celebration of LGBTQ+ and Latin American culture at the Tampa Museum of Art.

Pride & Passion: Sabor highlights the sights, sounds and tastes of Tampeño culture. Join us for a lively evening of salsa, merengue, cumbia and bachata, plus surprise performances, mouth-watering treats from local Latin American restaurants, and a premium open bar.

Pride & Passion, Downtown Tampa’s favorite pride event, celebrates Tampa Bay’s diversity and the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community to arts and culture. The event, which was founded and designed by a committee of LGBTQ+ community members and its allies, raises funds to support the Tampa Museum of Art, allowing it to supplement diversity, equity, and inclusion programming. These funds help the Museum offer programs that allow access to art education to all, create safe places for people to experience the arts, and celebrate local talent.

About Pride & Passion

The LGBTQ+ community plays a significant role in the artistic and cultural fabric of Tampa Bay and around the world. The Tampa Museum of Art holds Pride & Passion each year in collaboration with the LGBTQ+ community and its allies to be vocal in celebrating diversity, equity and inclusion. When Pride & Passion started in 2006, TMA was one of the only organizations in the Tampa Bay area that was not an exclusively dedicated LGBTQ+ entity to hold such a community awareness program. We believe that the values that Pride & Passion represents are important now more than ever in preserving past victories and making new strides toward equity and equality.
