The Museum invites Art+ Patrons and Tampa Collects members to join Julie Saul as she recounts the Tampa Museum of Art’s history of collecting modern and contemporary photography. In 1983, she organized for TMA the major exhibition Photography in America: 1910-1983 and presented photographs by Robert Frank, Diane Arbus, Alfred Stieglitz, and Edward Weston. Saul was instrumental in shaping the Museum’s collection of contemporary photography on view in the exhibition Tableau and Transformation: Photography from the Permanent Collection.
RSVP by September 24 to Kate.Douglass@TampaMuseum.org or 813.421.8372.
