Day 2: Storytelling & World-building

Successful imaginative worlds draw readers in. Learn how to create a rich fictional universe for your characters to exist in. Hone your visual storytelling skills, and put them to use in your own comic or graphic novel.

Ever wanted to create your own comic book? This sequential narrative workshop focuses on how to visually layout your ideas in graphic novel format. Make your story flow, characters come alive, and text pop, all in support of driving your narrative and capturing your reader’s imagination.
