Virtual Original Story Time, the last Saturday of every month over Zoom, 12:00p-1:00p
Book Klub is a free art and story writing program for students in grades K-5. Book Klub students receive a blank book, and a TMA-created story guide in book and video form to help you and your child with character creation and story development. With them your child will be inspired by the epic tales in our antiquities collection and then make their own storybook!
Book Klub Story Swap
Once a month, starting in February, students meet over Zoom for Book Klub Story Swaps where we read our original books to one another. If your child’s book is only pictures, they can still tell their story and show their drawings during the Story Swap.
TMA is also turning some of the stories from Book Klub Story Swap into animated cartoons! Tom Buttercup Number 2 is the first cartoon in this series. That cartoon is based on a camper-created book found by TMA staff at the end of Summer Art Camp in 2019.
