ArtSchooled is a monthly art making program where e-learners, homeschooled children, and their families can create works of art together. All projects inspired by works currently on view at the Tampa Museum of Art. Projects are designed for children in grades K-5 with the option for grownups in the family to also participate and create.
In-person sessions take place in the Golding-Scher classroom at the Tampa Museum of Art. Class includes a visit to an object in the galleries and all supplies. Face masks are required to enter the building. Temperature check is required to enter the classroom.
Virtual Sessions take place over Zoom, and include live instruction, as well as optional supply pickup at the Tampa Museum of Art. If you want to use your own supplies for this session, you will need one cardboard box (approximately shoebox sized or larger), scissors, paper, pencil, a dark marker, and glue.
