During this time of social distancing, the Tampa Museum of Art wants to continue bringing art into your lives. We believe that art has the power to create a positive impact in our community by helping us learn, relax, introspect, create, and express ourselves.
Postponements of public programs and cancellations of significant fundraising events will have a lasting impact on our future operations. Every week the Museum remains closed, we miss the opportunity to serve audiences with special needs, including people living with dementia, HIV/AIDS, Substance Use Disorder, and other serious health concerns. During the closure, we are currently unable to provide monthly art-therapy interventions for children and teens in foster care, homeless adults, children of migrant populations, and children in domestic violence shelters.
Whether you can donate time or money, you can help the Tampa Museum of Art mitigate the loss of revenue and charitable donations to help the Museum continue to offer programs to all segments of the community. Here are ways that you can help TMA:

Fun Fact: Did you know that proper art care requires the Museum to remain at 69 degrees year-round? Our staff owns lots of sweaters, but our art is delighted! 🙂
